Welcome back to The Furni Files, the ultimate cross-examination of the pixelated treasures we love to hoard. Today, we’re stepping into the archives with Takobelle, whose passion project has sparked creative triumphs, heartfelt community support, and even a bit of fierce and friendly competition.

First, let's talk about the prize in question: the Happy Negg. Introduced with the Habbo x Neopets collaboration, this cheerful little pixel egg stands proudly as one of the seven Neopet Neggs released into the hotel, and is arguably the most radiant of the entire set. While completing the full collection of seven is what many chase, and the Cool Negg getting its fair share of the spotlight, its unmistakable grin has made it Tako's absolute standout.

Let's dive into why this smiling star of the hotel holds such a special place in Tako's heart:

What's your favourite furni in Habbo Origins?

Cheerful and full of charm: the Happy Negg of course!!

If the Happy Negg was deleted from the game tomorrow, what would your grieving process look like?

Oh wow... I do not even dare to think about this horrifying scenario. I would probably sit in my room staring at all the empty spots where they used to be, thinking about every single one of them and how they brought me so much joy. Every smiley face I see from now on will always be reminiscent of the Happy Negg, maybe time will eventually heal the hole left in my heart...

What's the origin story of your love for the Happy Negg? 

Yellow has always been my favourite colour, but honestly I never expected to love the Happy Negg this much. The first time I saw it was in the catalogue during the Neopets collaboration back in November 2025. It was so unassuming; sitting there smiling at me. For 3c I could have it forever... I wasn't sure how many I wanted so I bought a bunch. It was my first time buying so many of one furni. The furni motto is a big part of why I love the Happy Negg so much: "... rumor has it it giggles when picked up", how cute is that?! The thought of it giggling as I pick it up made me fall even more in love with it. From then on, I made it my mission to search for Happy Neggs around the hotel and adopt them so they can always be giggly and happy.

If you could scale the Happy Negg up to real life and put it in your real life bedroom, how chaotic or amazing would it be?

I would have the HAPPYest room in the world!!! I want Happy Negg everything -- beanbag chairs, plushies, lamps, bluetooth speakers --the list goes on... My mood would instantly improve every time I came home, it would be both chaotic and amazing.

Does the Happy Negg have a specific memory attached to it?

The memory I cherish the most has to be the Great Negg Museum Room Building Competition. I am not a room builder by any means, but when I saw that the badge was the Happy Negg, I knew I had to give it my all. I was terrible at it though, but with the advice of good friends I managed to put something together and I remember how delighted I was when the results were announced! It's still my favourite badge till today and I enjoy room building a lot more now, especially with the new Advanced Tool.

It's also no secret that there is someone else who is also on the hunt for Happy Neggs... There was once when a seller sent out a console message that they were selling Neopet Neggs, and when I followed, he was already there!! It was devastating but hilarious at the same time. He has always been one step ahead of me when someone is selling Happy Neggs and it's turned into a friendly rivalry with lots of funny moments. I am also very grateful for everyone who has gifted or traded me their Happy Neggs when they find out I am collecting them. Everyone has been so kind in helping with my mission and I appreciate every single one! <3 The Happy Negg has truly made me the happiest Habbo with all the friends and memories I've made because of it.

If the Happy Negg could talk, what’s the juiciest piece of Habbo drama or gossip it has witnessed in your rooms?

I don't think there has been any drama or gossip that went on in the room I have the bulk of my Happy Neggs in, mostly because it's locked and I rarely let anyone go in LOL! They are stuck with my two Habbo cats though, so the craziest thing they've heard is probably when my cats greet me with "Run for your life: Takobelle". They might be planning an uprising since I can't afford to buy them fish as I've spent my entire fortune on Happy Neggs...
