Welcome to this week's edition of The Furni Files! This is the space where we interrogate quiz your fellow Habbos about the pixelated objects they hold closest to their hearts. Today, we’re diving into the history - and the psyche - of our first guest, Snauzher, to find out exactly which piece of virtual furniture he loves the most.

First, an introduction to his item of choice: the Rare Monster Plant. Not to be confused with the later Monster Plant Pets (those of you who played in 2012 will know what I'm talking about), this plant is one of the later classic rares that first crept into hotels back in the summer of 2007. While most hotels got it straight from the Catalogue, Habbo UK players had to fight tooth and nail for it as an exclusive competition prize back in the day.

Let's see what Snauzher has to say about his beloved, venomous green roommate:

What's your favourite furni in Habbo Origins?

"The Rare Monster Plant. There’s just something about that vibrant green pixel art and its snappy little attitude that does it for me."

If it was deleted from the game tomorrow, what would your grieving process look like?

"Stage one: Denial. I’d be aggressively reloading the client, convinced it’s just a loading glitch. Stage two: Rage. I’d probably resort to writing a strongly worded, slightly unhinged email to Sulake demanding its immediate reinstatement."

What's the origin story of your love for it? Did you trade your soul for it back in 2005, or did you win it in a falling furni game?

"The very first time I saw it on the Swedish hotel, I fell completely in love with it. It’s just so derpy and cool, and it has been my favourite piece of furni ever since!"

If you could scale it up to real life and put it in your real-life bedroom, how chaotic or amazing would it be?

"Oh my god, a real-life Monster Plant would probably be completely crazy and try to eat me! Hopefully, though, it would be nice enough that I could just feed it my food leftovers instead."

Does it have a specific 'vibe' or memory attached to it?

"I have so many memories attached to the Monster Plant. I try to put one in every single room I make. It’s just a part of me now. I’d honestly call it my signature furni, haha!"

If it could talk, what’s the juiciest piece of Habbo drama or gossip it has witnessed in your rooms?

"Oh, it has definitely seen some things. Probably all that Habbomon drama. I couldn't be bothered with any of that stuff, to be honest, I was busy calling my plant a Good Boy."
