º A volley of golden lightning strikes the centre of the page, scorching the paper until the name S-T-A-R-C-A-L-L-E-R glows brightly in the fresh embers. With a theatrical spin of his chair, Starcaller materializes, dusting off his lapels and taking over the typing. º
Welcome to a very special, slightly saltier edition of The Furni Files. This is The Blacklist Remix! This is the space where we stop celebrating pixel perfection and instead give our guests a stage to publicly roast, slander, and banish the absolute worst furniture Habbo Origins has to offer.
Today, we’re putting our inaugural hater, Frenkie, under the spotlight to dismantle an item that has brought him nothing but pure aesthetic agony.
The culprit in question? The infamous Tropical Beach Rug (better known to most as the Beach Patch). Dropping back in December 2006 as part of the V11 rare wave, this sandy floor piece made history as only the second patch ever released after the 2002 originals. Its value back in the day plummeted into the dirt almost instantly, and Origins follows a similar trend, with this 'rare' now being worth 25 Habloons as of today's Bobba Valuation. Taking up valuable floor real estate and offering zero seaside glamour, it proved that not every historic rare deserves a place in your room.
Let's hand over to Frenkie and watch as he utterly decimate this sandy eyesore:
"The Tropical Beach Rug."
"Temu sand."
"It all started in the early days of Origins. I wanted proper beaches. Instead, I got a rug. That's where it all went terribly wrong."
"I'd thank them for the thoughtful gift... and then immediately put it straight into the bin."
"Name: Garbage Patch.
Motto: The beach rug nobody wanted."
"Oh, absolutely without hesitation. I've dumped plenty of other useless pieces of junk in donation rooms before, and the Tropical Beach Rug would be no exception to the rule!"
