No, Donnie Santini hasn’t teleported you back to 2007… but he has returned in one piece, fresh from another adventure to the past - bringing with him one of Habbo’s most coveted relics! 

This May, Habbo Hotel: Origins and Bobba are joining forces to let you relive the magic of Habbowood - and while there might not be actual tickets to Hollywood this time around, there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Your task (should you choose to accept it – and you should): use the Habbowood Movie Maker to craft movie based on a very specific brief. 

Picture this: You’re playing Habbo Hotel: Origins. It’s 7pm local time – the perfect time to make a cup of tea, load up Spotify, and hop onto Origins. Suddenly, a message appears on your screen: “We’re currently undergoing maintenance...”. Right after, your screen goes black 😯

Here’s the question – what’s actually causing the maintenance? 🤨 Maybe the Hotel Staff are battling rogue bots in the server room. Maybe a portal to the underworld opened in the basement. Maybe Dave finally snapped. Or maybe – JUST MAYBE – it’s all a cover-up for something else?

Using the Movie Maker, create a 30 second long movie showing what caused the hotel to go into maintenance. You have until 8AM (BST) on May 15th to submit your entry and be in a chance of winning credits, a typewriter and... a Habbowood Director's Chair! Only one entry can be submitted per user, per hotel - but if you just so happen to have a new show stopping story, you can use the Movie Maker tool again to overwrite your old entry! A Few FAQ's and Tips:

• I've already entered but want to submit something else? Simply go back to the Movie Maker and complete the motto verification. You will then be able to submit another entry, overwriting your previous.
• How long is a scene? However long you decide to make it! Each 'bar' is approx. 3 seconds in length, so if you have a scene containing 4 bars, this would be 12 seconds long.
• Can I edit my movie? Once you have saved and published your movie, you cannot edit your entry, but you are welcome to create a new movie and overwrite your previous entry.
• How can I see my entry? Once you have saved and published your movie, you will be redirected to your movie viewing page! If you forget the link (or Frank's wires get crossed) simply enter your username and complete motto verification again and you will be shown your latest entry, along with it's creation date/time and viewing link!
