Room of the Week: Two

Welcome back to Room of the Week, where I take you through rooms that are more than just four walls - they’re experiences. Some feel like home, some like prisons, and some? Well, some have way too many people watching your every move.

This week’s room is one of rules, routines, and absolutely zero privacy. A place where the doors lock (but not from the inside), the windows are non-existent, and even your thoughts start feeling like they’re under surveillance. Comforting, right?

Buckle up, because this one comes with a side of “for your own good.”

Room of the Week: Psych Ward

Listen, I know a psych ward when I see one - and Phonno nailed it. This place isn’t just a room; it’s an experience. The Iced furni for padded walls? Inspired. Nothing says “we care about your well-being” like walls that look soft but definitely aren’t. Cosy!

And let’s talk about the layout - every section neatly divided, yet nowhere to hide. Classic. You can see everyone, everyone can see you, and the only thing separating you from your neighbour’s nervous breakdown is a thin suggestion of a barrier. It’s giving... institutionalised with a side of scrutiny.

Phonno didn’t just build a room. He built a mood. A cold, detached, slightly-too-real mood - and I’m here for it.

Bonus Room: Church of Mocha

Our bonus room this week is Dwarfyy’s Church of Mocha - where the Mochamasters are brewing up more than just coffee, and trust me, it’s everything you need to stay wide awake. This room isn’t just serving coffee vibes - it’s drowning in them. Wall-to-wall Mochamasters, endlessly brewing, endlessly buzzing, like a shrine to caffeine itself. It’s an older build, but still one of my absolute favourites, oozing with that rich, toasty goodness.
